Michael Sabath

Michael S. Sabath is a distinguished litigator with more than 30 years of experience across all areas of family and matrimonial law. His practice encompasses complex financial matters, corporate valuations, non-marital asset protection, premarital and postmarital agreements, as well as child custody, support and parenting time issues.

Michael serves as managing partner of Berger Schatz’s Lake Forest, Illinois, office. He was one of the youngest attorneys ever nominated as a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (Illinois Chapter) and has been recognized for his excellence in the field, including consistent selection to Illinois Super Lawyers since 2007 and to the Leading Lawyers Network each year since 2004.
