Jonathan Lambert-Melton

Jonathan Lambert-Melton (Jonathan Melton) is a Board Certified Specialist in Family Law and Certified Family Financial Mediator. His practice is dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate some of life’s most significant transitions. Over the course of his career, he has represented clients in complex divorce, child custody, equitable distribution, alimony, and family law matters throughout North Carolina, including issues related to same-sex and LGBTQ couples and families. Jonathan is also a former judicial law clerk for the North Carolina Court of Appeals, and he focuses a portion of his practice specifically on family law appeals.

Jonathan is recognized as a leader within North Carolina’s family law bar. He is a frequent lecturer for attorneys and judges on emerging issues in family law through continuing legal education programs, and he served as an editor of a leading North Carolina family law practice resource.
