Cultures and Conversations

Please join us for our Cultures and Conversations discussion on December 10, 2025. RERC is excited to share our new program for 2026 Year- “Let’s Talk About It.” In addition to our speaker-led Cultures and Conversations programs, we will have some fellows-only meetings and discussion groups this year. These discussion groups will support the mission of the RERC committee to foster education and inclusion among Academy fellows.

Let’s Talk About It is a welcoming space where people can come together for real, honest conversations about the issues that shape our interactions with clients, staff, colleagues, other professionals, Court systems and others we encounter in our practice and daily life. In our December session, we’ll dive into Microaggressions – those subtle comments or actions that may seem small but can leave an unintended big impact.

We’ll talk about what microaggressions look like, why they matter and how we can respond in ways that support connection, empathy and understanding. This is a judgment-free zone where everyone can share, listen, ask questions and learn from one another.

Whether you’re hoping to better understand your own experiences or want to be a better ally, this session is all about growing together. Come join the conversation on December 10, 2025, at 6 pm CT – let’s talk about it.
