AAML offers a comprehensive and highly acclaimed forty-hours of intense but insightful focus on the issues of mediation.  The program concentrates on when mediation can be used, the benefits, how it works and the nuances of the various legislation and state laws. This training includes:

• A primer on the mediation process from initial intake work with clients, working with difficult parties, memorializing agreements and tips on building your mediation practice.
• Hands-on instruction with the opportunity to participate in mock mediation demonstrations and receive feedback.
• An exceptionally high standard of faculty made up of AAML Fellows
• Interactive format with role play, lectures and collaborative sessions
• Small working groups focused on the skills required to become an effective mediator

Completing the 40-hour program enables AAML Fellows to be certified as AAML mediators and listed as such on the AAML website. See the full list of AAML certified mediators.

Dine Arounds:

Dine Arounds are a great opportunity to connect with other conference attendees and leadership in AAML in a small group setting. Please note Dine Around attendees are expected to pay their own way. Registrants will be notified of sign-up options for Dine Arounds via email.
