Welcome to the Alabama Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.

Our Chapter brings together Fellows from across Alabama who are recognized as leaders in family law. We are committed to strengthening our profession, supporting one another, and serving families with excellence and integrity. 

Throughout the year, we focus on three pillars: education, service, and investment in the future.  

Our Annual December CLE features some of the best and brightest in family law.  

Each September, we volunteer to feed the homeless in honor of September 11th, an initiative organized by John Durward.  

And through scholarships awarded to students at the Alabama School of Law and Cumberland School of Law, we support the next generation of family law attorneys. 

We are proud to serve Alabama families with distinction and to advance the highest standards of our profession.
