Center Against Sexual and Family Violence

The AAML Foundation is pleased to announce that it provided a $6,000 grant in 2026 to the Center Against Sexual and Family Violence (CASFV) in El Paso, Texas.  CASFV is a nonprofit organization founded in 1977 that works to confront and prevent domestic violence and sexual assault in all their forms. Its mission focuses on promoting safety and justice through intervention, education and community collaboration while helping survivors move toward recovery and independence. What began as a hotline connecting victims to safe housing has grown into a comprehensive regional agency serving El Paso, Culberson and Hudspeth counties, offering support to individuals and families regardless of background.

CASFV provides a wide range of services designed to meet both immediate and long-term needs of survivors. These include a 24-hour crisis hotline, emergency shelter, counseling, support groups, legal advocacy and transitional housing, along with educational programs and prevention initiatives. The organization uses a holistic, “wrap-around” approach that addresses emotional, physical and economic needs, helping survivors rebuild their lives, achieve self-sufficiency and develop healthy relationships free from violence.
