Introduction

Amy Hayes Kennedy began her legal career in 1997 and immediately focused on family law and it remains a central part of her practice. She prefers to use mediation and collaborative law to solve even the most complex family law matters because she sees these approaches as the best way to achieve lasting solutions to meet the unique needs of her clients and their families. Amy is skilled in the courtroom and takes a firm yet compassionate approach to litigation realizing that family relationships will long outlast legal proceedings. Whether in the courtroom or a collaborative setting, Amy’s creative approach to problem solving enables her to assist her clients with a wide range of family law issues including child custody, valuation and distribution of diverse marital assets, child support and alimony.

Amy is a partner of the Salt Lake City firm of Dart, Adamson & Donovan. She practices in the greater Salt Lake City area including Salt Lake, Summit, Davis, Tooele, Weber, Morgan, Wasatch and Utah Counties.

Amy has held leadership positions in several professional and public service organizations many of which focus on the needs of women and children.

Emphasis

My family law practice is focused on assisting clients in resolving cases through mediation and Collaborative Family Law as well as traditional litigation representation. My practice also includes estate planning to further the goals of my clients.
